The Walk

Welcome to my humble home oh Lady of the woodland realm,
Here where air is sweet and clean, we'll wander along a gentle stream.
I'll pack the food and grab two rugs, a warm drink and two clean mugs.
And then we'll take a fair days walk, by gentle paths the woods to walk,
Where Hobbit laughter lights the air, when spending time with one so fair.

We can take the old road to the west, then find ourselves a place to rest,
We'll eat a lunch and maybe then, watch rabbits frolic in the glen
Flying high above our heads, a skylark sings his warbling song
And as we walk the evening breeze, brings scents of woodland flower along
Theres honeysuckle, rose and pine, tenderly their perfumes combine,
To lift you heart , renew you spirit and gently ease your mind.

And should you tire to walk this way then beside the stream we'll spend the day
We'll lift our eyes to sky so bright and slowly watch it turn to night,
And should you find perchance a dream twill last you through to days first gleam.
I'll hold your hand and walk with you atop a hill to see the veiw,
Look the sun is rising now spreading her warmth throughout the land
Just as the love you give warms my hand
No fairer friend do I seek, no one better can I find
Than one that cares to walk with me through the dreamlands in my mind.
