Pippin & The Palantir

Pippin dear a palantir is such a dangerous thing,
Evil lurks inside its globe and it will draw you in.

Round and dark, deep and cold, it has a heart of fire,
It tempts you to look within to see your hearts desire.

But Pippin if you are so bold it's danger you will find,
An evil eye will grab you hold till terror burns your mind.

So listen well my little friend do as Gandalf Grey commands,
Leave the palantair alone it's not for hobbit hands.

Gimli & Legolas

Gimli isn't a grim Dwarf,
Not like any other.
For Gimli likes to play and chat,
With his elven brother.

Not for him the darkened caves,
The search for mithril bright.
On Rohan horse with Legolas,
He rides into the night.

Now most would shun this odd Dwarf,
Thinking he is queer.
Leaving behind his halls of stone,
To hold an elf so dear.

But Gimli knows what he's about,
With arms around his friend.
Not digging in grubby holes,
He's found a better end.

For Legolas and Gimli too,
Are off to Elvenhome.
To while away the hours,
As through Paradise they roam.
