Faereluth turned, her geat claws scraping the ground, as she stiftly reached for something hidden in the dark. There was the sounds of something dripping, then very gently she place a cup of water in the man's hands. "Will you tell me your name at least?" She waited patiently, feeling the air seepng back into the stuffy cave stirring the old dust and webs that had for so long gathered there. "I have no name . . . " His voice seemingly harsh, yet beneath it Faereluth determined a hint of unwillingness, just bravado she thought, he want's to talk and yet is unwilling to say what it is that troubles him. "All of us have a name, even if some do not remember it. You are a son of man are you not? Man has always given name to their offspring." Of course she was stating the obvious, but long years in isolation had robbed her of the skills of conversation, now though she tried, she was most often blunt and to the point. |
